I love this poem. I read it every year to every class I've taught. Then, I give each student a copy of the poem so they can read it too. I agree with every word in this poem. Reading is the best thing students can do. When parents ask how they can help their child, I always tell them to read, read, and read some more. It's the key to growing up right!
